Shinrin Yoku (Forest Bathing) the Simple Healthy route to Get Well

You may have heard about a Japanese therapy called  Shinrin Yoku in English it means forest Bathing Therapy.  It was developed in Japan during the 80s and has become a cornerstone of preventive health care and healing in Japanese medicine.  The effect is simply wonderful.  It unplugs away the technology over usage that must of us suffer from every day. When was the last time you surrendered to just being in a calm state circled by Greenery, birds, wood, and flowers?  Some believe that the separation from nature and the wisdom we learn when we are intimate with nature's ways it's the cause of many illnesses.  Time to schedule a quick visit to the nearest park this week!

I try to be like a forest, revitalizing and constantly growing... Kids would tease me, calling me ‘Little Bush.’ But... I thought being called Forest helped me find my identity.
